What is a Fabric and a Fibre?

Definition of Fibre; 

fibre is a thin thread of a natural or artificial substance, especially one that is used to make fabric.

Definiiton of Fabric:

Fabric is cloth or other material produced by weaving together cottonnylonwoolsilk, or other threads.

First, a fibre is cultivated then processed into a yarn, which is finally used to create a fabric.

There are many types of both Fibres and Fabrics, both natural and artificial. Examples of natural fibres include wool, cotton and silk. Examples of artificial or man made fibres would include nylon and polyester.
